This is the house (Maison) part of La Fayette Galleries in Paris. It was taken in November 2004 on my first visit to Paris. Even though it was early December they had gotten into the Christmas spirit and had the most amazing windows...

Well it's Thursday again...that means it must be web 2.0 day! I've been having a bit of a look around flickr and there is some really amazing photography out there, on all sorts of subjects. Just some of the things I looked at were knitting, cats and in recognition of grand final week Port Adelaide...
I really like the idea of uploading all my photos and doing a bit more with them so I have created my own flickr account. Here just a taste...

#1 > #4 thursday....

Well it's nearly the end of the week and I seem to have successfully created my blog. Now of course I need to have something scintilating to say. Why is it that all my scintilating thoughts seemed to have disappeared?

I am looking forward to learning more about Web 2.0 and being able to apply what we learn in creative ways, in the library and also in my own time.

The biggest challenge for me will be to stick to the schedule. It is very hard to justify 'playing' as learning - I agree whole heartedly that it is a very valuable way of learning, and for me quite essential. But I am a realist and know that if there are other pressing tasks, deadlines or requests I may push it aside to get other work done. I have the best intentions to set aside time each week to do the work. Hopefully I will be able to keep up!
